Hi, I’m Mira!

I’m a new mom who transitioned from a corporate management role in the construction industry to embracing the joy of being a homemaker.

At Blue Dasher Home, I share easy-to-follow, delicious recipes, home DIY projects, and practical routines that have helped me effectively manage my time in this new chapter.

Originally from Ukraine, I grew up watching my mom prepare every meal from scratch, inspired by a rich tradition of Eastern European cuisine. At 24, I moved to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario, Canada, bringing with me a deep appreciation for home-cooked meals and a passion for nurturing family life.

My father had a wide range of interests, from painting and woodworking to skin tanning—there was no home project he couldn’t tackle. I inherited my passion for DIY from him, and whenever I see expensive furniture or home décor, my first thought is always, I can make that myself!
